Are you looking to accompany local mushers on an extended dogsledding journey? Join us for this extended 5-day tour where we explore the Uummannaq Fjord by dogsled and experience Greenlandic culture first-hand with the residents of a small settlement.
Though the Inuit have used dogsleds for thousands of years, Greenland is the only place in the world that still uses them for traditional purposes. Our mushers are all local hunters with large dogsled teams they use to hunt and fish throughout the winter.
Explore the enormous icebergs and mountains of the magnificent Uummannaq Fjord by this ancient form of transportation, visit one of Greenland’s remote settlements, and (hopefully) see the northern lights from one of the darkest places on Earth.
Dog Sledding Experience in Greenland for yourself what it is like to travel in winter like an Inuit by selecting a date and clicking on Book Now.
Note: the itinerary below is a guide. Activities may be swapped and timings may be longer or shorter depending on the condition of the sea ice and the weather.
